Small World!

Market at San Lorenzo.JPG

As I travelled through Tuscany, I’ve met so many people from all parts of the world and the world has never seemed so small! With each of us having different levels of understanding of another’s language…Italian, German, Swiss, English, Spanish and everything else in between! A smile, a nod, pointing a direction…even one word versus a complete sentence…serves as all the language we really needed. With everyone so eager to help the other…it occurs to me what is possible when we make a choice to give space and grace to each other.

New Normal

Bernadette Johnson

This last week I’ve had the opportunity to have conversations with many people across various industries. Some were very optimistic about the future. Some were very pessimistic about our current time as well as the future.

What I find interesting is that what our current environment has done is given us new meanings. New meanings for how we spend our time as well as whom we spend our time. New meanings for where we spend our money and what we spend our money on. New meanings for the relationships we have in our lives as well as whom we have in our lives.
